whimsical and lovely
set around our lovely oversized table
on our lovely turquoise rug.
but why in our kitchen?
in the most unappetizing color,
not found in foods from nature.
most nauseating for a pregnant girl.
it was my fault,
i chose the color and sorry
i made you repaint them yellow
like mangos.
better than turquoise chairs dressed in dish rags
and plaid Easter suit jackets.
